Terms of use

Effective 5 November 2026. Applies to the Lunita app on iOS and Android.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using "Lunita: Pregnancy week by week" ("Lunita", "the app") you agree to these terms with Soft Crunch ("we", "us") and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Lunita is not medical advice. Lunita gives general information and helps you keep personal records. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Always talk to your midwife, doctor or other qualified clinician about your health and your baby. If you think you or your baby may be in danger, contact your local emergency services right away.

2. Who can use Lunita

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Lunita.

3. Your data is in your hands

Your health data and records stay on your device, or in your own Google Drive if you turn on backup. We never receive them, so we cannot restore them for you. You are responsible for keeping backups, for example with Google Drive backup or by exporting your records. We are not responsible for data lost because a device is lost, damaged or reset, or because a backup was turned off or deleted.

4. Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Lunita on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, and within the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are billed to your store account. Their payment terms apply.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Prices and features may change. A price change for an active subscription will follow the store's notice rules.

6. Ads

Lunita may show ads from third parties. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for the products and websites they promote.

7. Third-party services

Lunita works with services from other companies, including Google Drive, Google sign-in, Firebase, Apple and Google Play. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, interfere with how it works, get around its features or limits, or use it for anything unlawful.

9. Our content

The app, its design, text, illustrations and other content belong to Soft Crunch or its licensors and are protected by law. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond the licence in section 4.

10. Disclaimer

Lunita is provided "as is" and "as available". Week-by-week information, such as baby size and weight, is general and based on averages. It may not match your own pregnancy. As far as the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or the app being uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Soft Crunch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for lost data, or for decisions made based on the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

12. Ending use

You can stop using Lunita at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you break these terms. Sections 3 and 9 to 11 continue to apply after that.

13. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Lunita from the Apple App Store:

These terms are between you and Soft Crunch, not Apple. Soft Crunch, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
Soft Crunch, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app breaks legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, and claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property.
You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Google Play terms

If you downloaded Lunita from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Where they conflict with these terms about your use of Google Play, Google's terms apply.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using Lunita after a change, the new terms apply.
